Terms of Service

The deal

Squaredrangle is a puzzle game and online service. By using it (downloading, launching, signing in, or playing), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

• You can play as a guest, with Sign in with Apple, or via an email magic link.
• Pick a username that isn't a slur, threat, doxx, or impersonation. We reserve the right to reset usernames that violate this.
• One account per person, please. Don't share login credentials.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen.

Purchases and subscriptions

The Squaredrangle iOS app is a one-time purchase of $2.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Everything in the game — Classic, Puzzles, Daily Challenge, Cascade, Diagonal Squares, leaderboards, achievements, and stats — is included in that price. There are no ads and no loot boxes.

Online Multiplayer is an optional auto-renewable subscription:

• Title: Online Multiplayer (Squaredrangle)
• Price: $0.29 per month (or the equivalent in your local currency)
• Length: one month, renewing automatically
• What it unlocks: online Co-op and Battle against other players. Every other mode remains playable without it.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase; deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms; we cannot issue them directly. Prices may change with notice, and any change takes effect only from your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Don't do any of the following:

• Cheat. Submit scores you didn't legitimately earn (modified clients, automated play, fake submissions).
• Harass other players via usernames or friend requests.
• Spam friend requests or otherwise abuse the service.
• Reverse-engineer or attack the service (penetration testing, DDoS, attempting to break authentication).
• Scrape leaderboards or other content for commercial use.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules without notice.

Your content

The only "content" you contribute is your username, display name, and game scores. You retain ownership of these but grant us a license to display them on leaderboards visible to other players. That license ends when you delete your account.

No warranty

Squaredrangle is provided as-is. We don't guarantee zero downtime, perfect data preservation, or that the game will run on every device. We back up data and use reasonable engineering practices, but you shouldn't store anything in this app that you can't afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced inside the app on first launch after the change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this document last changed.
